I was told that it was just the new micro chips that are being used to insert in humans that are causing cancer. Not the same exact chip as in what we use for dogs.
Hi and welcome to the forum :D
Actually, the jury seems to be still out on all of the chips and there is a lot of controversy on them right now. I have not had Lil-Lea done, but my circumstances with her are very different than most.
I am 64 and although I do go out to the stores for various things, such as PetSmart , grocery shopping, get my hair done and things like that, I do not go out often and only some of those places are where I can take Lil-Lea. :what:
So, she stays home in the house with Rick, (hubby) She hates the lawn and just wants to be picked up all the time. And since she has her indoor potty, the only place she goes outside, is the deck to sit with Rick or myself when we go out to sit. Rick smokes outside, so she usually will always go out there with him several times a day and sits on his lap or if the sun is strong, she will bask in it on the deck floor :)
So, I am not really worried as I would be if she had a *normal dog life* instead of an *normal human child life*
She is so small at 5-6lb that I just worry way too much about what it cold or might do to her.
But, I am watching closely to see what transpires with all this.............there seems to be a war going on between manufactures, veterinarian's, and others in the field or connected with it. So, I guess we can either just take a wait and see attitude...... or chance it and go for it....... As if the food scare is not bad enough, and we need one more thing to worry about, eh :?:
